The Boston Carmelites - Before the Face of God

This video, both a communications and an educational piece, was produced for the nuns of the Boston Carmelite Monastery. I've working with them for almost two years now, almost entirely pro-bono, and it's been a fascinating experience!

This video will be used on their website and for visiting groups. As the nuns of the monastery are "cloistered" almost all visitors would never have the opportunity to see most of what is shown in the video.

I also plan to release a longer, more documentary style video sometime in the near future which has interview footage and more direct interaction with some of the nuns.

Follow the Child: The Harborlight-Stoneridge Montessori Experience

At the heart of the Montessori "method" is Maria Montessori’s guidance to "follow the child."

What that means is that Montessori educators seek to observe and understand each child's individual needs and unique learning style, in order to create an optimal educational experience at every age, whether a toddler or a student in Middle School. “Follow The Child” means that each student is given the tools to become a life-long learner, and will be able to truly reach their unique potential.

Nurturing Your Baby's Brain

Created for The Institute for Intergroup Understanding

Science and brain scans now tell us that the first three years of life are absolutely critical years for the development in a baby's brain. That development starts on the day they are born and early stimulation and interaction is the key to success later in life.

I handled all storyboards, the gathering/licensing of stock photography, generated the 3D animation and hired the voice-over actor (Barbara Quesada).
